Eucalyptus radiata has been discovered to support healthy respiratory system functions.  Eucalyptus has a strong influence on breathing and is best known for its effective use against catarrh, coughs, allergies, colds, bronchitis, flu, throat infections,  congestion and sinus problems.  It clears mucous from the lungs.

Add eucalyptus oil together with peppermint in a cold compress to help bring down fever, it is cooling.

Eucalyptus radiata is very popular because of its strong, camphor-like scent and effectiveness and range of uses. It has been first used by the aborigines from Australia where the tree originally comes from.
Eucalyptus essential oil is derived by  steam distillation of the leaves of the  tree. There are over 650 varieties of Eucalyptus. These are different species, grown in  certain climates and areas.  Each species has different chemical constituents and therefore different benefits and uses.
